Sustainability at The Farm

No BS in our compost…

The next decade at The Farm is all about extending our impact, sparking new conversations, and bringing more people into this movement for change. The Farm is not just a place—it’s a way forward, a vision for a regenerative future, and a testament to what’s possible when passion and purpose come together.

We know that great hospitality starts and ends with the health of our soil. It’s not just about our local Byron community, it’s about how we can share our knowledge, passion (and seriously-good times) to help lead the way for regenerative hospitality.

Our shared Philosophy

The Farm operates on a shared vision to work in partnership with the grounds we cherish. As you walk around the farm, watch as our “Farmily” work in unison, reducing any wastage, producing the most delicious foods and replenishing our soils. This local economy is what fuels our passions - and what gets us out of bed each day - for us to share with you.

We renew, regrow, regenerate and re-use wherever we can at no expense to our amazing offerings.

Our Farm Producers

When Three Blue Ducks joined us, they didn’t just bring a restaurant; they brought a philosophy. Their food has always told a story—of the seasons, of the soil, of the farmers who dedicate their lives to growing what ends up on our plates. Through their passion, they have shown visitors what real food is: not just something to eat, but something to cherish, something that connects us all.

Accessable information for us all to share and grow from.

Our Responsibility

As we look to the next decade of the Farm, we plan on engaging with our community of all ages to offer accessible workshops, events and incredible hospitality to inspire the next generation of farmers, chefs, holiday-makers, students, grannies and more.

Our passion & energy grows here

What makes us

We’ve turned 48 tonnes of organic waste into compost so far, increasing our yield and minimising waste. This is an ongoing, daily effort we are proudly building on day by day.

Regenerative agriculture and localisation go hand in hand—thriving not in the anonymity of global markets, but in the intimacy of local economies. When we support local growers, eat seasonally, and participate in place-based economies, we begin to reweave the threads that hold life together.

Our farmily of tenants work in unison to eradicate waste, grow in harmony with the land and guess what - it makes more commercial sense.

Our goats aren’t just here for the friendly g’days. Because they are enthusiastic browsers, a small herd of about 20 to 30 goats can clear roughly half an acre to an acre of heavy weeds and brush in about 3 to 5 days
