Our Mini Farmers school holiday program introduces children to real life farming! They’ll love getting their hands dirty, learning many aspects of organic and sustainable farming as they forage, cook and make natural products whilst making new friends!
WEDNESDAY, 28 JUNE | MINI FARMERS - BENEFICIAL BUGS

Join us to learn about the importance of lady bugs and other beneficial bugs in the garden, make a natural bug spray to deter unwanted pests and create beautiful butterfly and bug magnets!
THURSDAY, 29 JUNE | WORKSHOP - PIGS
9.30am - 12.30pm | $75 | Ages 5 to 12 Years
In this half-day workshop, our Mini Farmers will discuss ethical pig farming, animal welfare and learn lots of fun pig facts! They’ll also make a pig keyring and a pig-themed bookmark in this hands-on workshop.
FRIDAY, 30 JUNE | MINI FARMERS - FLOWERS
9am - 3pm | $130 | Ages 5 to 12 Years
Our Mini Farmers will tour The Farm, learning about the parts and purpose of flowers! They’ll then sit down to make their own bath bombs and a flower keyring with timber beads and a beautiful flower collage.
MONDAY, 3 JULY | MINI FARMERS - DIY
9am - 3pm | $130 | Ages 5 to 12 Years
In this interactive workshop, our Mini Farmers will discuss the benefits of natural products and make their own bath bombs and bath salts using dried flowers and essential oils.
TUESDAY, 4 JULY | COWS
9.30am - 12.30pm | $75 | Ages 5 to 12 Years
We’ll discuss cows, beef and dairy, learn about ethical farming and take a close look at the different types of cows at The Farm in this half-day workshop. We’ll also make butter and craft a cow-themed bookmark to take home!
WEDNESDAY, 5 JULY | MINI FARMERS - COMPANION PLANTING
9am - 3pm | $130 | Ages 5 to 12 Years
Our Mini Farmers will learn about plants that are friends with each other, make a flower press, a natural bug spray to deter unwanted pests and decorate a flower pot to take home at the end of this workshop!
THURSDAY, 6 JULY | WORKSHOP - CHICKENS
9.30am - 12.30pm | $75 | Ages 5 to 12 Years
The kids will love learning all about healthy chickens and eggs, before sitting down to cook honey pikelets and using feathers in a fun craft activity in this half-day workshop!
FRIDAY, 7 JULY | MINI FARMERS - HERBS
9am - 3pm | $130 | Ages 5 to 12 Years
After a tour of The Farm, collecting edible herbs, our Mini Farmers will make rosemary salt, pesto pasta for lunch and an aromatic herb wand to take home!
MONDAY, 10 JULY | MINI FARMERS - CITRUS
9am - 3pm | $130 | Ages 5 to 12 Years
We’ll discuss citrus and its healing properties, before making a magic lemon juice painting, creating citrus peel bunting and a natural citrus cleaner.
TUESDAY, 11 JULY | WORKSHOP - BEES

The kids will be buzzing about bees these school holidays, learning about beekeeping, cooking delicious honey pikelets and making beeswax candles to take home in this half-day workshop!

Our Mini Farmers will taste different vegetables straight from our garden, make a Mr. Potato Head, homemade tzatziki with veggie sticks and make veggie print artwork to take home at the end of the workshop.
THURSDAY, 13 JULY | WORKSHOP - NATURE CRAFT

The kids will love creating nature bubble wands and masks using items that they find foraging around The Farm in this fun and half-day interactive workshop!
FRIDAY, 14 JULY | MINI FARMERS - PADDOCK TO PLATE
9am - 3pm | $130 | Ages 5 to 12 Years
We’ll find out about paddock to plate, including food miles, eating local, growing at home and different ways to prepare food as we cook two recipes from paddock to plate!
