Why We Teach

Vintage-style illustration of a daisy flower with textured beige petals on a black background.

The challenge.

While many of these challenges can feel distant or complex, The Farm offer a powerful place to learn. They allow us to see how soil, plants, animals, water and people interact - and how healthier, more resilient systems can be designed.

The opportunity.

As food systems strain under chemical-heavy farming, degraded soils, vanishing biodiversity, fragile supply chains and a rapidly changing climate, regenerative education has never been more urgent—even though many of these pressures remain hidden from everyday view.

Why The Farm?

The Farm exists as a collaborative learning environment with 12 enterprises onsite - ideas are tested, knowledge is shared, and people learn by experiencing regenerative systems in action.

Inspire the next generation of farmers, producers and doers.

The Farm has many interconnected practices, growers, and systems operating side by side, so experiences can be tailored to focus more deeply on particular areas, depending on the group’s interests, learning outcomes, or goals.
